Is DBU back? I say hell yeah! 5 interceptions against an SEC opponent!!! What???
When we hired Corey Raymond again I said it's a great hire and he's the godfather of DBU and I got a lot of downvotes. One a-hole in particular called me an idiot and was really beligerant about the whole thing. He kept saying that Corey Raymond is trash and the only reason we were ever DBU is because of Ron Cooper and that I was retarded. My how the turntables.... I think his username was "open your eyes" or something like that. I wonder if he has opened his eyes yet. I'll link the tread in a minute.
Eta: Here's the link to the belligerent a-hole "Open Your Eyes". I wonder if he still has a hard on for Ron Cooper and still thinks Corey Raymond sucks. LINK

I think so! The defense is fun to watch again…at least as much fun as it can be with the way the targeting calls have changed the game!

I think Raymond leaving and coming back to LSU was needed by both parties. Seems to be laser focused again and the product on the field shows

Great to see the cb' and safeties so much more coordinated. I would like to know what happend on that busted coverage, where a holding call saved a 92 yd td. That was disconcerting.

It's cool that we got some great players out of the portal, but what I really like is that some of our HS recruits are stepping up which is an indication of development. Woodland, Spears and Pickett all look really good right now.

I can’t tell you how fun it is to watch us be the aggressor in the secondary again. Watching Press Man coverage done well brings tears to my eyes

It’s the exact reason the blitzing scheme baker is running is working so well we have guys who lock down their man on islands. The trust baker has on this year’s backend compared to last year is night and day. LSU will always be at its best when the db’s are playing aggressive bump n run man coverage

I'm glad we got Corey Raymond back. He's done a masterful job with recruiting and also navigating the portal. Our secondary is as good as anyone in the country right now.

This entire Defense is FUN to watch! Having a strong DL, with LB's flying around and DB/S pressing, hitting and picking takes us back to LSU Defense glory days! Keep it up guys!
