I am not sure if Maneri would have been fired after last year or not, but he retired and part of the reason is the pain he had been dealing with in his back. There were times you could tell he was hurting. The way he would stand at times so I do think that played a big factor.

DD Breaux retired. If she wouldn't have she would still be there. In fact, they just promoted within.

You can argue that Nikki Fargas was given more than enough time, but then again I went back and looked at her records and she wasn't horrible.. Her last year was bad, but she wasn't awful. She seems like a nice person, but she just didn't bring that excitement to the program that is needed to get people on board with Women's basketball.

But to answer your question. No. He isn't going to replace someone just to replace them and you couldn't ask for anyone better to represent LSU. She really is a class act and runs a successful program.

What about Dennis Shaver? What about Russell Brock? Tonya Johnson?

I don't know the golf, swim, tennis and cross country coaches, but what about them?

Tennis has a brand new facility. How are they competing?
