Seniors get downgraded in the draft, it is just a fact.

So you are saying that Hield will not be a top 10 pick????He is better than That Russell guy the Lakers took last year.......

There seriously hasn't been a guy with Ben Simmons measurables and ball skills available in the draft for a decade or more.

You are joking right??? He as ZERO jump shot and sure he can dribble and make a few good passes but he is NOT the best player in the country this year... If I am a GM I would take Valentine from MSU before Simmons....

Brah, it ain't about being the best player right now. You get draft based on what you will become.

Buddy Hield is probably a better player than Ben now, but Buddy is older and closer to his ceiling than Ben.

Buddy will probably be top 10, but he won't go higher than Ben.

so with all this talk about about Hield's age, is he 35???

Jesus, the kid is 22. Basketball ain't like football, where a player has limited shelf life. He's got a decade+ if he's the real deal.

It isn't about him falling over as an old man in two years, it is about him being farther along his progression than Ben.

Hield should go to a team that is close to or is making the playoffs imo, he will improve but he's ready to contribute and fit in his role now. Ben albeit raw has great potential and he will be able to develop on a crap team that allows him to make mistakes and learn. I'd really hate for him to go to the 76ers but I think Ben will be a big time player
