The whole rivalry thing is picking up a lot of steam the last few years. I don't see how you can't state it isn't.
I absolutely loathe Arkansas. It's a tie for me between them and Alabama. So I certainly view this as a big rivalry game.

Of course it's a rivalry. It's still behind Bama, Auburn, and Florida, but it's enjoyable nontheless

I know exactly where you are coming from. As an older fan (late 40s) the rivalries I still remember are Ole Miss and Tulane. I also remember the SWC well and that is where I will always see Arkansas. Younger fans (and I am not sure you fit into that category) will see this entirely differently.
I will readily admit it is probably a sense of SEC "snobbishness" on my part that will never let me accept them. Still a superb football program that has consistently played us well.

I feel like it is a good rivalry, but it feels like most LSU fans don't want to make it THE rivalry. I believe that it is hard to say that the game is not a rivalry game. Especially with the way Arkansas has knocked LSU off and kept them out of some big games.

No they are not worthy, of course we all despise arkie for obvious reasons. I think they would be better off on another conferance, I dont know maybe the sun belt or conferance usa or something
