How many of you old-school college football followers EVER thought we would see the day where we rooted FOR Nebraska to beat Missouri in Lincoln so that it could potentially help LSU in the rankings? I didn't think we would ever see it...

I am not pulling for Missouri to win for Ranking purposes per se! I want all undefeated teams to lose so end of the year an undefeated team won't go to the BCS NC game over LSU if we have one loss. So I guess you might or might not consider that the same thing.

I think you missed the point of my post...

In the past it would have been natural to root for pitiful Missouri to beat big and bad Nebraska. Now it is the other way around...Missouri is strong..and Nebraska has fallen on harder times. So it is strange to actually root for Nebraska.

i caught your drift.

it's kind of like how florida st and miami are playing and nobody cares.

and like how vanderbilt is ranked.

I never thought that I would be pulling for these arogant assholes. The only reason I am, is because I like Pelini and want him to be sucessfull.

I'll be pulling for Mizzou since I've got some FirstDibz on them. They probably won't make the national title game but $25 is too cheap to pass up. Roughly a 30/1 payoff.

I agree- I really do hope that Pelini gets things turned around in Lincoln. He is a class act who brought some great things to LSU. Geaux Pelini!

As much as I want to see Missouri go down, it is against my nature to root for the Cornsuckers.
