To further the connection, the character was released on November 21, 1999, before the final game in a historically bad season. The writer incorrectly added all of the 1999 season to the post Raiku stats. 6 days after the creation of this cartoon, 2-8 LSU would not only upset a top 20 SEC opponent in the season finale, but destroy them by 25 points.
