Interesting article on NCAA Refs
I think there is a strong pressure for the SEC to be in the national title mix which may have a modicum of influence, Alabama has been that university
absolutely true.
It's kinda what the article i posted was all about.

To the morons, there does not need to be some independent body looking over more than 300 plus colleges. There is no way that could be done
Is anyone suggesting they need to look over the colleges? I suggested they oversee the officials and have the officials not governed by the conference they officiate in.

Its literally their only gripe.
In their defense, they think the Eric Reid interception should've been ruled a catch.

No one thinks they are actually cheating. We just want them to be better.
Most of them aren't cheating, but many of them have a subconscious bias.
And a few of them have no integrity whatsoever

Everyone can have an opinion...the Constitution guarantees us that...but an opinion that is based on some substance is another thing...after 60 years of watching referees on many levels tells me that Vegas/the mob has more influence than most fans want to admit...I understand that no one wants their bliss stolen from them, but it will be...that's the REAL world...

Wow...what a thought provoking statement. I can tell you took the time to read the articles, look at the data, and then came to this incredibly profound conclusion you decided to share.

The article i shared wasn't based on substance?

Im not sure how this ties in to the original article. Are you suggesting that the mob/vegas is making the refs call plays for Bama over LSU?
Posted on 12/25/16 at 7:59 pm to Tiger Tracker
I know people in the mob...so there!

OK...still not sure what this has to do with anything i originally posted. Should i consider you "cool" or "connected"? I'm struggling to see the relevance here.

Dude, the refs are paid much more under the table than above it! Grow up!

maybe you and your mobster drinking buddies should put the booze down.
I am not sure how the mob would make more money by cheating for the favorite. Wouldn't you want to rig it to screw the line? If you're giving the favorite more points (through cheating) wouldn't that mean you're screwing yourself out of potential cash?
If Bama is favored to win by 10 then wouldn't you make more money betting against them and having the refs only let bama win by 7 or 3 or whatever?
Honestly, i don't bet on the games so maybe I'm thinking about this all wrong. I still don't see why the mob wants bama to win over LSU.

This is my last post on the subject...all institutions are corrupt, including the NCAA and SEC...they play the game with the boys to satisfy the needs of each other...it's a symbiotic relationship where all feed on the masses...when you grow up some, you'll realize what I'm trying to teach you...have a Merry Xmas!

Bama grad did the study!

1) You have no clue how old I am.
2) you're not "teaching" me anything. You're trying to make yourself sound important and all knowing while belittling me.
3) just because you speak with arrogance doesn't make you all knowing.
4)The fact you believe all "institutions" are corrupt shows me you are more in to conspiracy theories than any actual fact finding.
5) you started this entire "conversation" talking about opinions with "substance". I have provided articles and years of data to try and come to my conclusions/opinions, but somehow the guy who uses "i know people in the mob." To substantiate his opinion is the all knowing person in this conversation
I'm sure there has been or maybe there is some corruption in any sport. You're talking like it happens every game and we're all a bunch of oblivious fools.
Until something like the FIFA scandal comes to light about the NCAA and SEC, I won't be making a bunch of accusations without supporting facts to back them up.
