And watching Brady call the game real time, was cool stuff.

And, that may be the best football documentary I ever saw. Will buy the dvd, if they offer one.

On SEC Channel - watched it last night - saved it to YouTube TV

He’s not talking during the play. A bunch of coaches are in the booth and they are just like fans at that point. The way editing works, it may not also be 100% legit timing wise.

I don't think he's talking directly to Burrow, they don't have that technology like they do in NFL
I think he's seeing the coverage and relaying to sideline, this one needs to go to Chase and that is relayed to Burrow before play and Burrow's first read is Chase. At that point it's up to Burrow to look another way and bait the DB and then come back and hit Chase or Marshall as they probably see a man look from the press box.

It's why they were waiting until deep into the play clock to get the look they want.

The SEC Inside piece was awesome to see in that setting though.

I thought the SEC rules mirrored the NFL where the communication was shut off after the play clock hit a certain number.

I’m pretty sure college QBs don’t wear ear pieces like they do in the NFL

It’s on the SEC network. It’s a half hour national championship show.
They did one for the Alabama game as well. It’s like an NFL films show

SEC Network, the show is called SEC Inside but if you check your tv guide it's not going to show it relating to LSU

They advertised over the weekend that it would be on Monday

I'm guessing it will replay all week.
Just DVR SEC Insider and that should be it.

I didn't know they did it for Bama but happened to catch it randomly on a weekend while flipping through channels.

Mic is supposed to cut off after a certain duration. But that’s another reason we ran our offense in warp mode

Rewatched some of that. May have been just some tight editing that made it look that way. Edited the OP

They don't. That's why you still see many QB's (including Joe) looking to the sidelines for various signals/signs from the backup QB's.

The video the OP is talking about Brady recognizing the coverage in the booth and saying to himself (and anyone that can hear him on the headset) outloud to look to Marshall. He's not "telling" Burrow in his ear to throw it to Marshal.
