I had to sign a waiver for my son to play t-ball this summer. So why is this any different than that?

The t-ball league didn't even agree to take care of my son with a full gambit of resources - like the SEC would do if a player contracted the virus.

Waivers should work. That's the point of them, to allow people to make an informed decision and accept a level of risk to have access to something that they can't have access to unless they are willing to take risk from the provider. That's how it works.

Let's not for a minute think any of these kids are at real risk of dying from this virus. The statistics literally show they have a greater chance of dying on the field from a playing injury.
