Yea in general it may not be what you want. but who’s the most talente? Who is going to make our defense better, regardless of class? Matt house was bad but he doesn’t cover players

Different then that’s on you

Hunt Palmer said that he charted one total pass breakup on 25 pass attempts in one on one drills today. It's not just one play.

1. If you watched last year the secondary was god awful

2. Anyone with common sense knows the talent wasn’t up to par last year (which makes sense on why u may start 2 freshman this year)

It’s not hard to figure out, turn on the tv and watch the ole miss game last year brother

One on one drills with no rush on the qb is not real life. It will make our DBs better at 1 on 1 coverage though

This isn't last year. And you're not comparing them to last year. You literally said you think the secondary will outperform people's expectations of them this year. And then cited two week 1 starters being freshmen as your reasoning.

You can have that opinion. I'm just telling you that the odds aren't really in your favor.

Video from today’s WR’s vs DB’s… Obviously the offense has an advantage..but the separation is GLARING. At one point Corey just threw his hands up. Sage Ryan is a liability. We better pray our Front can get pressure.

Correct and we don’t it want to be last year again. How much can you improve a senior in sage Ryan or a Gilbert? They have reached that peak. Lightbuld hasn’t clicked, do you just expect them to turn into all sec players from one offseason while they have 4 years of proven garbage? I’m just telling you that if you have any sense of football knowledge and watched any of the games from last year, it might make sense to why we start 2 freshman on the backend. Isn’t hard to figure out when you were in the bottom half of the country in pass defense. Stick with that you have from last year, or play the guys who have more upside and give you the better chance to win. Football 101 brother

Oh look it's you posting basically the exact thing exactly a year ago when DB's were getting dominated in one on ones. Did getting dominated in fall camp last year make the DB's better at 1 on 1 coverage?

I get that you feel empowered by having "inside information" but it's pretty clear you aren't able to grasp what I'm telling you.

You're not going to change my mind. Your reasoning is shite.

Stamps was getting noticed last year as a FR that had the skills to play. I’m sure he has improved and there were glimpses of his talent at times when he got in games. He made mistakes though, which is what most FR do.

I just hope Zy is healthy and we don’t roll Ryan out there at corner because he’s had more PT than the younger guys. I can’t imagine Woodland would get beat more often or miss any more tackles than Sage would.

A reasoning to play the best talent regardless of class? When you get home, drink a brew think about what I told you and watch the ole miss game. Come back with your answer, later brother. H

Weird, but last years results have nothing to do with the format of the drill. It is an offensive drill where the DB is at a disadvantage.

This is still true:
quote:

Kelly was not concerned. “There’s no pass rush,” he said. “They have the whole field, there’s no man-to-man. No clock. We talk to the DB’s about the deficit they have in this drill so they don’t get frustrated. Technique is most important.”

You keep punching at air on this. You're arguing against what you think I said versus what I actually said.

No, because it has no bearing you being unable to fricking read.

You are missing the point. Last year the DB’s were getting cooked in these same drills and it was dismissed for the same reasons you are making now.
