Yep. Not only a mistake for him to go, but if someone in-conference takes the model we're intending and improves on it it will hurt us.

And let's not forget, he was either involved or the primary recruiter in getting our only 5* last year (Stevens) and a big flip (Phillips). In other words, there's a recent, positive, track record that can't be ignored as far as recruiting.

ETA: I wouldn't be at all suprised if Arky tries the "GM Model" with Gus and Tim Horton as their A. Thomas.... if they can convince Gus. Barring that, I wouldn't rule out them going directly for Austin themselves to install the model. Lot's of moving pieces there, but the timing/situation seems to suit such a move. I'd be pissed as hell if Arky were to purchase AT away from us.
