In-game curtain calls

Sure hope our players have enough sense and restraint not to make curtain calls after HRs in games that are in doubt... doesn't seem to be working out too well for FL ST.

It must be a regular thing for them. No way they just started doing it when they got to Omaha. Guess Nole fans don't understand that curtain calls are reserved for special occasions.

I would say the vast majority of "curtain calls" come in games in doubt. I fail to see how anyone got worked up over THAT. His fans were cheering and it was a quick acknowledgement of the cheers

dude from FSU did a curtain call in the first inning Saturday night....get your arse back in the dugout until the end of the game.

Busby did it Saturday after his HR against us. It's dumb.

baseball, and even football for that matter, has followed in the drama queen, showboat, mug for the camera, hot dog, choreographed dance and cheer world of women's softball, no turning back now

I agree it's dumb, but is it really that big of a deal? Especially when you consider that players on every team, including LSU, feel some need to make ridiculous gestures after damn near every base hit. Heaven help us if someone gets a double. That's a guaranteed feaux bow and arrow shot or some other silly shite.
Point being, yes it is probably dumb to do a curtain call after a HR in the top of the 1st. But that's almost minor compared to the other antics that go on all game long by both teams. If you're going to complain about the curtain call, fine. But complain about the other stuff as well
