In Depth Stats in Myles Brennan's 2017 Season

Since the QB battle seems to be heating up, I went back and watched all of Brennan's passing attempts from 2017.
I categorized the attempts by how far the ball traveled in the air and then charted how many catches/incompletions, TDs, INTs, drops, etc. came in each category.
Attempted 0-10 yards(including behind the LOS)
12/16 119 yards, 1 TD, 1 interception, 1 batted @ the LOS
Attempted 10-25 yards:
1/4 11 yards, 1 interception, 1 drop that should have went for a 50+ yard TD
Attempted 25+ yards
1/4 50 yards
Things I took away from a very limited sample size:
Brennan is very good in the short passing game. He did a good job of recognizing blitzes and finding his checkdown for positive yards. The one interception he had in this category was due to Davis running the wrong route. He did, however, throw a very late pass o the sideline that should have been picked off.
Brennan has pretty good intermediate accuracy. He had a bad drop by Sullivan that we all know about. Also, one pass that was put on a rope as he was moving to the right against the sideline that may have been a catch if a veteran receiver was on the other end or if he had thrown it a split second earlier. Also threw a beautifully timed stop route to Gage on the sideline for a first down. However, his worst interception and play came from the intermediate distance.
Brennan also had a beautiful deep pass at 4:51 in the video below. Didn't like his first read, noticed single high safety, noticed Chark had inside leverage on a go route, and then hit him with the perfect throw that didn't allow the safety to get over and allowed Chark to wall off the CB.
Brennan does struggle with double clutching every now and then, but that will be ironed out with more experience and confidence as he goes on.
Wish I could do Narcisse, but I'm sure he'll have his chance to prove himself.

Eh, I think 2 dozens passes by a true freshman over a season doesn't even qualify as even "very limited".

Canada's offense would have been so much better with Brennan over Noodle Arm.
Save me the Troy interception because the entire world knows that Ole' Steve was calling that game.

I still can't believe Sullivan dropped that ball.

Those number are not all that great the 12/16 119 yards, 43 came in the Darrel Williams 3rd down play, and the garbage time throw against Bama. In reality his limited playing time a nothing

This is the first time i've ever heard anyone say this. So, no, the entire world doesn't know.
