In case y'all were wondering why 2025 season was dreadful

We’ve had only a CB, S, and slot receiver/KR selected through the middle of the fourth round. The talent on this team was no where near what anyone thought prior to the season, especially up front on both sides of the ball. In year 4 of the Kelly era, nonetheless.

Part of that is due to the poor offensive scheme and coaching
And some of LSUs best players not draft eligible
But yes there were some bad evaluations such as Thompson on the OL
