I'm still a noob, and I know you are going to haze me for starting another thread, but I think it is worth it to share this article about Les Miles and LSU.

It's from Saturday Down South, which I think is a newer football website. The article says:

quote:

While these five keys to success are valid points, I have to admit, if I’m an LSU fan, I’m not too encouraged by these keys to success. In the SEC, I don’t want my kicker to be one of the five most important parts of my game. Does this mean that LSU’s offensive struggles will continue into 2010? Maybe. Getting back to a quality running game and a quality kicking game is great in theory but LSU is going to be facing some teams that will put up some serious points this year.

It goes on to talk about the importance of winning the UNC game. I don't think Les has this much pressure on him. I still think he's a great coach and we have plenty of talent. We just need to show the media what we're capable of doing this year.

What are your thoughts?

haha, these are the responses I thought would come. Anybody want to have a serious football discussion?

I'm excited about the season. Geaux Tigers!

I personally am thriled that you went the trouble to post that link.
It raised points that have never been considered before. The writers are Pulitzer material in my book. Their research, analysis and crisp writing will be studied and taught for generations.
We are forever in your debt.
