If we beat bama they still have a shot but would need 2 teams to lose a game. I think we have a better shot at beating bama than Oregon, fsu, and osu have at losing.

But it would be in pure nick saban fashion to lay an egg against an inferior opponent and have several teams lose at the end of the season to sneak into another bcs title game.

I'd rather the SEC get shut out of BCSNC than see Bama. If they struggle against us and the Aubbies, FSU and OU may just jump them regardless (here's hoping)

Am sooooo with you on this. Other SEC folks at my job think I am wrong for feeling this way (for the sake of keeping the Natty in the SEC) but I just don't want those Gumpers to win it all again. Sorry, usually 100% behind our conference, but just can't do it this year if those idiots make it.

I want to beat Bama and a&m. This would do wonders for our recruiting and for the quality of bowl game we play. Unlike others, I don't think our season is over after the Ole Miss loss. Did it hurt? Yes, but we could still make out for a good season with victories over Auburn, UF, Bama, and a&m, plus get a decent matchup and victory for a bowl game to help with recruiting.

Going to the conference championship game is determined by your overall conference record, not just how you did in the West. Thats kind of why everyone was so upset we had to play Georgia and Florida and Bama got Tennessee and Kentucky.
