Have to wonder if they just play the playoff games further down the line. What a disaster that could have been

This is an awful thought.

I'm surprised no one else has thought of this yet.

TheFunk said the same thing in my thread, but this may be the first OP to bring it up. If you think the backlash is bad now, cancel the Peach Bowl and/or the CFP championship game and see what happens.

They cancelled March Madness. I’m not sure how that compares to the CFP, but you have to imagine revenues are at least comparable simply because the sheer number of games in March Madness is so great.

I would have been pissed if this whole Wuhan virus prevented us from completing the greatest CFB season ever.

LSU fans want a 30-for-30. That would’ve been a sure fire one and one that would have sucked because all of us knew how it was going to go down before the game happened.

My first thought when they cancelled. Wouldve been all dressed up and no where to go.

I'm from North Carolina, cancelling March Madness is basically like cancelling Christmas there. UNC was bad and had already been eliminated in the ACC Tournament though, so that mitigates it somewhat.

My son and I were just talking about this very thing. As a side note, he was talking about the collar tackle on Burrow vs A&M. We went and looked at the game and it's a violent, fricked up takedown. One that could have very well ended Joe's season.

Makes my hands sweat just thinking about it.
