Brown received tons of support. When he had a consistent winner. Brady never had that

I don't see it as a slap in the face. I see it as an indictment of Trent Johnson being a quitter. The seat is hot, so he is going to cut bait and run to a place with lower expectations. frick him. I want a competitor at the helm.

Brady never win as consistently as Dale, not to mention that he was an a-hole.

Where did Brady end up going?
Where did Curley Hallman end up going?
What ever became of Dinardo?

The answer is... to schools that were not as big as LSU. Does this prove that they were the wrong hire at the time? No, with the exception of Hallman. It does prove that they wore out their welcome and they were "washed up". I thought Brady was a great X's and O's guy and I thought Trent was good with the players and their motivation. We need a coach who can do both.

I think we need to hire someone that is a gerry dinardo type for basketball and Bring Back the Magic. What I mean by that is, someone who will feed off of the glory days of "The Deaf Dome". Invite former greats to be more involved with the program, i.e. Shaq, Livingston, Blanton. I would perfer us contact Steve Wojciechowski.

The clock was ticking on TJ here and the alarm was probably about to go off. Moving to TCU allows him to reset the clock in a situation that probably doesn't have the same scrutiny and pressure.

What is this TJ motivation that you speak of? Other than his first year, the teams played as if they were dead. His 4th year barely accomplished a winning record, loses to So Alabama and Coastal Carolina and gets blown out in the NIT. Sorry...his last three years at LSU were disgraceful. I supported the guy till this year...when he lost to CC and USA, I gave up on him. He can't get his arse out of BR fast enough...

Some people at the end of the season still said there was progress. What frickin progress? Losing to CC and USA aint frickin progress...it's an embarrassment. Adios Trent...

I didn't like Brady...but I'd take him 1000 times over TJ.

Didn't realize that Trent had his foot on the banana peel and was a ticking time bomb. Then he made the smart move to cover his butt. Now what do we do to replace him? Please nobody washed up.

Need an up an comer who won't use us as a stepping stone to a place that cares about basketball.
