I'm usually a relentless optimist about LSU football

I'm having trouble believing that next year will be any better than this year.
LSU has ~60 scholarship players right now. Supposed to have mid 80s. They can only sign 25 players at most this recruiting class. There are 15 seniors on the team and probably 5-6 draftable juniors.
Lsu Probably won't have 70 scholarship players next year.

Does the 60 number include the opt outs? They can all come back. And remember, anyone can come back. Not many of these seniors/draft eligible players have to be pleased to enter the NFL draft with their performance this year. O has a massive recruiting job ahead, if he isn’t canned.

i'd expect this team to perform like most programs on ncaa probation. because with the scholarship numbers the way they are, that's pretty much the situation.
