The only reason I ask, is because the athletic director where I went had final say on things like this. If what little bit red has shared is accurate, this situation was totally out of Miles hands.

im not going to pretend to know what happened. i just want to say that some schools are different. in many cases the HC has alot more power than others. Bowden, Paterno, Saban (at bama), etc....other than their own jobs, they pretty have control

Carrol had Snoop Dogg on the sideline.

Im not talking about the penalites on freashmen... Im talking about the four defensive offside penalites on Mingo last week, the cheap shot that Reed took on a defensless receiver last week, the penalties that are going against vetran players man. Stupid shite too... Penalites that sustain drives for the other team or stalls one of our drives. This is the type of shite that causes me to see lack of discipline. We are in the top five of penalized teams this year. Seems like its almost every year.

I hate to bring in Alabama into the converstaion, but you look at what they lost on defense last year. Are their players out there doing the stupid shite that we are week in and week out?

Miles need to address the situation by calling all four players, espically JJ and TM and say, dont you talk to my players, dont you associate with my players, dont ask to come on the sidelines

maybe, but i think miles needs to tell the team to stay away from people like tm7, jj, ETC, ETC.

Miles deserves a lot of credit for dumping his sorry arse before the season started. This is not the kind of distraction the team would need going into Bama week. Timing of it is amazing, good for Les

If I were Miles, I would wash my hands of Tyrann

i would be willing to bet that miles probably thought this would happen and never really thought much about tyrann coming back. This must be frustrating as a coach to see a kid throw a bright future away. I am sure coach miles tried his best to help this kid.

He's not his parent. If it's his own kids, I could see being furious. At this point, it's to be expected.

I am sure he is disappointed as losing TM is a big deal but coaches deal with things like this all the year round.

I feel you, but you cant say things like Chavis us the only reason Miles has a job, Or Chavis won that game. Then turn around and blame miles for the penalties. You know the defensive penalties that kept drives alive for usc and tamu.

You are rt about being most penalized. In fact in 2003 we were the most penalized team in the sec and up there in the country.

I doubt Miles is pissed as much as he is disappointed in Tyrann as a person.

This. However, Les knew JJ was a POS and still started him over Jarrett Lee.

TM was not returning next year before this happened is my understanding.

And it had nothing to do with drug testing.
