No but based on his 4 yard performance vs McNeese St and his being quoted as saying he thought his play was fine I would say JJ would say that!
Where is the relevance of this quote to what you are responding to?

This is the BS I am most tired of. Have any of you had microphones shoved in your face at 19 years old asking how well you played in a major college football game? I seriously doubtr he thought he played fine. It is much more likely he was very dissappointed in his play and didn't handle the question correctly. Yall need to get over it. Would yall rather him say I really f'n sucked tonite? Did JL ever say that in 2008?

Link me where JL sucked and said he thought he played fine? Do you not think if JJ thought he played poorly he would have said I or we need to play better? He said he thought he played fine just like he said he thought he should start because he has been here four seasons this spring.

I have to give it to you. You are dedicated and committed to those quotes. As irrelevant and ridiculous to use them in a debate as they are, you are persistent.

So it is irrelevant to quote what JJ himself actually has said?
I know the fan club thinks posting JJ's stats are irrelevant but now posting his quotes are too?
Should we just bow down and worship him? No matter what he says or how he plays?
Hail JJ greatest player in college football history!

Best i can think of is this....Les figured after the BAMA game that if we run into BAMA or a BAMA "type" again that we were screwed if the QB position didn't get better. So....Lee's career is done so JJ can get all the practice necessary by playing the rest of the season since he sat out due to the indiscretion. This team is built to win with ST and Defense so plugging in a diff QB really doesn't matter unless you play BAMA. Sucks for Lee but this scenario makes sense. And if true, the Les is a genius. We better hope that team with the number 1 run D doesn't figure out how to stop the QB running, because JJ isn't going to become Brady all of a sudden under the pressure that Lee "can't handle". Live by the JJ, die by the JJ is what it amounts to.

career comp. %
JJ - 58.4%
Lee - 56.1%

i think Rudy slipped off the deep end about 4 months ago

The good news is that at that point Lee can be plugged back in.
The bad news - he isn't Manning either
I can see the game being JJ all the way through frustrations and superman breakthroughs and then we listen to Bama's excuses till next November and then after 4-0 , I hope they shut up

I will give you that one good comeback!!!
But I still feel reading what a player says can give you a window into his head. Not when he just says cliches but when he responds to a question and doesnt use a cliche and I think those quotes tell you alot about JJ's mindset and how he has been coddled and not held accountable for his poor performances!

Agree. Noticed you were in Marietta also. Where?

I know what you are thinking. I just disagree because I feel that line of thinking is overrated when judging QB's. JJ has a lot of self confidence and I actually think that is a positive.

I think you are noticing his "self entitlement" not confidence...big difference. When you can do no wrong and still start one becomes entitled. Obviously just my opinion.
QB's admit all the time that they screwed up...JJ never does.

I understand what your saying BeeFense and you may be right and I wrong but I just dont see it that way. Guess we will have to agree to disagree.
By the way I think you make reasonable posts and defend your positions well for the most part. I do not think the same about several posters who support some of your positions particularly on JJ but I do believe you make reasonable points and thoughts!
