You do realize we won the SEC and made it to the BCSNC game, right?

What about going undefeated in the regular season was so difficult for our fanbase to understand?

I agree that it was working. But you'd think he would have gotten a few more snaps in some of those blow out games.

Mr. Rockford, you may want to add this to your files, but one of the principles is still at LSU. It needs to be explained one way or another. That last game was the absolute worst loss in LSU history. If anyone one of your Rantards disagrees, then please make your case. CLM looks all the more foolish having not played Mett.

If it matters, he should give Rivers as many snaps as possible as well.

I will say.. If we have a lead I'd like to see Rivers get some meaningful throws..

Look at how Arkansas looked last night when Wilson went down.

Only problem is, with our running game so dominant you won't see Mett get the meaningful throws he should be. Hard to justify bringing in your back up to throw when your starter isn't getting many reps to throw.

We have a pretty easy schedule to start the year. Does it look like he needed those reps last year anyway? Now if you mean why wasn't he the starter last year, well that's a different question.

This makes sense actually. Maybe next game will be an air raid. Doubtful, but it'd be awesome.

Just as valid a question. I said last year that if this team fell, it would be due to poor QB play. And I was correct to my own great disappointment.

would much rather see jarvis landry get his touches.

still as a hole the wr's were pretty weak yesterday, though OBJ did have a nice catch yesterday in between those drops.

I actually want Mett to get more meaningful time, so not playing Rivers right now doesn't bother me. Of course, had we played Mett a little last year, he would be more seasoned and we could play Rivers more. But there's nothing to do about it now. Right now, I just want Mett getting as much game experience as possible. He will need it for the stretch against Florida-SCarolina-Aggie and, of course, for Bama.

CLM thought JJ was a lot like Obama, just needed more time.

Watch it (sarcasm)! YOu aren't allowed to question anything Les does according to many on this board. Since you are not a head coach, you are not allowed to delve into the inner workings of the decision making process of a football team. You are only allowed to see the score, applaud the results. You are not allowed to analyze ways your team can get better. Just clap your hands and be thankful

<sarc> Thanks, Tigerbait. I don't know what happened to me. For a moment I thought I actually had something worthwhile to say, but reading your post has helped me see how wrong I was...<sarc>

It didn't matter who played QB on 01/09. When a defense has an effective pass rush with four, you're in trouble.

I think the results have been pretty damn good. Maybe I'm dumb though.

I should probably spend more time on the rant so I can learn about good coaching and good football.

You do realize this is a year old and absolutely irrelevant, but go ahead and keep working it out.
