Comparing a former LSU head coach to hitler is plain stupid and sipes how much you are a loser fan. If you think that what has done isn't amazing then you know nothing about football and are just jealous that miles isn't even in the same zip code as Saban as far as being a head coach .

So one of the two teams playing has a direct negative affect on your team and you want them to win? By doing anything else you are being "a thirteen year old girl"?

1. I probably know more about football than you.
2. I'm not jealous of that fact, a little dissapointed yes, but not jealous.

Being a thirteen year old girl refers to creating a faux rivalry because Nick Saban is the coach at Alabama, or creating threads like this one because someone has the audacity to dislike Clemson more than Alabama.

frick Clemson, and roll Tide. It has zero effect on LSU, whoever wins this game.

You realize that we have to play them...every year. There is no "faux rivalry", we fricking play them...every year.

It has nothing to do with someone disliking one or the other. The issue is the ones who just say "Meh, Ill pull for the SEC." If you hate Clemson, great, pull for Bama, but don't try to play it like Bama winning this game doesnt make LSU's life a little harder because it does.

I strongly dislike Alabama and will not pull for them, but for some strange reason, I have Bama winning this game and I am kind of pulling for them to win it.

I have no idea why my heart changed...It's bizzare. Maybe when the game starts I will be pulling for Clemson, but right now, I am leaning bama...

I think it's the fact that we have to play them every year, and these teams going undefeated in the ACC haven't had to deal with a Nick Saban / defense every year like we do, so part of my thinking is, "Ole Clemson, now you see the SEC is a tough nut to crack".

"Winning the SEC is harder than winning the National Championship"

Why the hate for Saban????? What he has done is amazing

all this Bama hate just reeks of insecurity and envy.

Look, Bama's had our number the last 5 games. It hurts, but it's true. I don't get the over-the-top hatred. I respect the hell out of Saban and what's he's done.

Want to stop the Bama juggernaut? Beat them next year. Until we do, put on your big-boy pants and accept where we are and where they are.

And whether they win or lose tonight won't affect us one bit. No recruit is going to change his mind on Bama vs. us based on this one game.

It still isn't a rivalry.

Auburn/Bama is a rivalry.
Ohio State/Michigan is a rivalry.
LSU/Ole Miss is a rivalry.
LSU/Bama is not a rivalry.

It absolutely does not. Alabama is responsible for Alabama's success. LSU is responsible for LSU's success, or lack thereof lately. Again, Alabama winning has no effect whatsoever on LSU.

I'm for "Not Bama" at all times. When they play Ole Miss, sometimes I root for a meteor to hit the stadium during the game, but that's still "Not Bama."

Look at the uncommitted recruits that list LSU and Alabama as possible and then tell me how it helps LSU if Bama wins another National Championship.

Prove to me that a national championship game is the deciding factor where an 18 year old kid decides to play football more so than, say, playing time. Or family influence. Or any other factor in the decision.

You're looking at it from the perspective of a fan, not a player.
