Establish the run. The first time the Tigers get the ball, eschew the pass. Run-- off tackle, off guard, jet sweep, student body left, Nuss dual-threats, whatever it takes. Just run, baby, run and pray for points.

Running the ball keeps Lane’s offense off the field but they are always going to put up around 30 points, even on a good defense. We will need Nuss to lead the team and to make good decisions but also to push the ball downfield.

ole miss ranks 100 nationally in run defense so I’d try to establish the run. I’d like to see some heavy i formation.

Have you ever had a post that wasn't mostly down-voted?

Use the passing game to open up the running game. Don't force the running game.

I get that Kelly wants to run the ball, but we aren't good at it. Use our strength to open up the run game. I think Kelly can achieve the goal of being successful at running the ball, burning some game time to keep their offense on the sideline, but it can come later in the game.

I don't think he plays as much as we would hope. He's a back up there.

They’re averaging giving up 190.5 a game.

Arkansas ran for 221
Kentucky ran for 172
Tulane ran for 178
Georgia State ran for 191

If we can’t run the ball on them, we won’t be able to run it on anyone. We better have 175+ rushing.
