I hope Damone isn’t as old as his namesake character. We didn’t have snowflakes back then.

That inability to recruit QBs is already over.

Holeeee Crap. Its like I woke up this morning to an alternate universe? What Orgeron recruit is pushing the former 3rd string OSU QB for the starting job?

Brennan committed to Miles on 4/16. And none of Orgeron's recruits even saw the Spring game. And Orgeron has signed 3 classes so far.

So far, the Orgeron binder has been a whole lot like LSU football under Miles

Success wise our offense wasn't much better last year but in terms of style it was nothing like the Miles days. A lot of the lack of success I would attribute to being very young and inexperienced.

We’re signing 4-star QBs now. Miles’ QB signees are struggling for time in JuCo, battling for second-team at Missouri, or have looked OK at Tulane. This is not even to mention Harris’s stellar stint at UNC.

ETA: or Jennings’ mediocre year at ULL.

I love the long detailed preface before getting into the fact that O has done terrible at securing QB talent outside of a transfer.

Keep comparing O to Miles, the man who was fired for his inability to field a competent offense and elicit good QB play, that’s certainly the gold standard by which O should be measured.

He's had 2 and a partial recruiting classes. Are you saying in those two classes he's not secured any QB talent?

Brennan decommitted, and recommitted to Orgeron.

He signed two for 2019. Are you saying those QB's are not talented?

What? LSU couldn’t sign a QB fit for the SEC in the last 5-6 years of Miles’ tenure. He landed two capable transfers.

Canada is a renowned poor recruiter, Emery’s parents detailed how they were not coming to LSU when Canada was his primary recruiter. Canada couldn’t land a QB during his year at the helm.

Brennan was a Miles recruit and is the best hope we have for one of his QBs to do anything. He hasn’t done it yet, but you expect a Orgeron signee to pass him already?

So, QB's you've never seen, you've already decided they are no good?

What a "fan"

Their views are based on the fact that they didn't get their way. It needs to be ridiculed.

Canada was Alleva’s hire. Alleva sold the Orgeron hire the to BOS as a CEO-type HC with top coordinators, Aranda and Kiffin. Kiffin was headed to LSU after Houston passed on him, but FAU unexpectedly tabbed him. Alleva needed a brand name, Canada was it.

Don’t you O haters know that he only likes to hire his buddies? Didn’t you ever question how Canada got here?

What's pathetic is you don't even know who the quarterbacks are and you've already decided they suck..

But he's lived up to it. Especially recruiting.

Unless he fails miserably this year, he is here to stay.

Dumb, dumb

That was also the argument on Coach John Brady. He was as successful as any LSU basketball Coach in history. But that wasn't good enough so he was terminated.

Orgeron, it appears, has us on the right track for a lot of success.
