Will Wade is by far the most popular coach on campus. He can’t fail.

This post proves that the title plays a big part in the response. I immediately downvoted because of title before reading the content due to already believing the OP was a complete moron.

Too many numb nuts on here looking for failure.

Sit back, pop a top and enjoy the good.

We have a real AD now, he will demand EXCELLENCE.

His buyout is $10 million and doesn't become affordable for a couple years. It's dumb.

Guy won the SEC in his second season.

The only thing he has in common with the football coach is that both coach at LSU. Try again.

I promise you that this new AD will pull the plug very quickly if things go south. (IF)

He will definitely not let things fester and decline for 3 years. O either keeps it going and improves or he gone.

Orgeron Sycophants should be nervous. King MA Alleva aint in charge no mo.

BTW, I want to know why weak link assistant coaches Johnson and Joseph are still on the staff. You don't win the SEC West with weak links that are in way over their heads.....…….

It's a mentality of failure that permeates the fan base. The only answer they ever have is to fire someone.

Nope very relevant. A confirmed loser with no qualifications for the job and an embarrassing resume won’t get the leeway as an otherwise accomplished coach would.

This is a nega-fallacy. Orgeron will be judged precisely like any other coach would be judged.

There's a reason you don't make a living in sports.

Although I see this FBI/suspension thing as a bump in the road (meaning it will have an affect on recruiting this cycle, and WW will basically have to start over again with building the image of the program he built before his suspension) I believe WW is going to get things headed in the direction he had them headed before all this FBI/wiretap/suspension crap came about. WW is a winner, he has thick skin and those attributes will serve him well as the MBB program goes forth. He will not fail!!!

But as of this date has proven he deserves the job and will keep it a while.

Eh, that's far from a certainty.

He's safe for this year and next year. I think he gets replaced if he hasn't won the SEC by the end of 2020.
