Doesn't matter.
LSU plays #3 and #1.
They don't have to worry about teams ahead of them losing. They can do it all by themselves.
Hell, considering LSU's schedule, they could be ranked #25 right now and it still wouldn't matter.

I wouldn't care if LSU was ranked #1 #6 or #56 right now. Go undefeated (or have just one loss) vs. their schedule and they will be in the playoffs.
They don't give out trophies for being ranked #1 after week 3

No we wouldn't and it doesn't matter. Miami was ranked way too high so it all evens out .
