Sure but what will happen is several other players that fall under the 5 for 5 will enroll in a university and then file suit to be granted their eligibility.

I’d be shocked if any of these players play this weekend. This is about getting them enrolled to play later and you’ll see a lot more than these 15 or 17 players enroll in a university if this passes.

No matter if the TRO is permanent or not, the Appeal will take the rest of the college season. By the time it is finally settled, the question will be moot. The NCAA should have tied this new rule next year and given a year’s grace to those players who had had the rug pull out from under them with the 5 for 5 rule. The NCAA is determined to make themselves more irrelevant.

Totally agree but apparently Sankey is ignoring the fact that Cole Hutson signed a contract (Tryout Agreement and Waiver) and got paid (per diem so not much but he did get paid), and he declared for the draft. The only difference legally in Hutson vs Wright is that he got culled sooner.
