Agreed. The way I look at it is you can blame your employees but as the boss it is your responsibility to hire the right people and get the most out of them. If you can’t do that then you need to go also. Time to clean house to stop the bleeding.

Crazy thing is the rumor starters and pot stirrers will be forgotten with no repercussion. Not saying it won't happen but they truly have spun this thing out of smoke.

the reality is that our top 2 HC candidates turned us down and we hired the interim coach. we paid much less than the going salary and he will be terminated relatively inexpensively if he doesn't work out.

the other reality is that his OC hire was less than expected and it appears a decision has been made that he is not the guy to take us where we want to go.

nothing more and nothing less. all of this aingst, hand wrenching, tantrum throwing and drama is not called for. it is a fabric of the collective imagination of a group of posters on here. the sky is not falling.

I have been through a number of HC changes at LSU and have observed many at other schools. some work out and some don't. even bama who had a string of shite hires after the bear died (with only gene stallings working out). from ray perkins to mike shula. Orgeron is finishing his first year with a possible 10 win season. he will get another year at least to prove he's capable.

contrary to the catastrophe syndrome on here, LSU football is still in a position to improve enough to seriously challenge for titles. if O's OC hire (if indeed Canada leaves) is good, we'll be good. frankly, Canada's was only marginly good.
