I think if they are able to successfully run a no huddle offense and not allow us to substitute as efficiently as we have been doing all year, then that could give us trouble.

The best field position they got all game last time was when the referee gave them the ball at the 25 yard line for the start of overtime, and they still fricked it up from there.

Their linebackers are slow.

We'll make their arse quit and mercy knee them out of the dome.

Teams don't win rematches. LSU barely beat Georgia at Home in 2003 and then had to play them, again, in the GA Dome.

If McCarron has time to throw and is actually accurate this time, it could be a different game.

Don't know if saban wants any three and outs to wear down those big lb's he has...but I could see it used..

Their defense. Their offense doesn't worry me, because of how nasty our defense is.

Their defense is just like ours (I say we're better, though) and our offense doesn't exactly light up the scoreboard. I am hoping we see an explosion like in the Texas A&M game last year, but obviously their defense doesn't compare to Bama's.

I think we'll open it up more because both teams played REALLY conservatively last game. I think we air it out a little more. If JJ plays mistake free like he has been and usually does, I think we win another super close one. If we are able to hit on a couple big passing plays downfield I think we will be fantastic.

A lot of that is probably common sense, but that's how I see it.

If their offense doesn't do much, their defense doesn't worry me. Special teams would be the difference.

I think LSU's special teams have become a weapon. Literally, our return game is an offensive weapon, similar to Devin Hester in the NFL. Teams respect that and make strategic mistakes in when to punt or not to punt to him.

I expect Alabama to be much the same offensively between the 20s, but become more conservative inside the redzone. I do not expect them to run as many slow-developing running plays, draws and counters, but more right at you type runs, Isos, dives, etc. Due to this, I think this takes away from their screen game, meaning the battle becomes LSU's front seven and their ability to stop the run. If they can, LSU will dominate the Alabama offense. If not, Alabama will control the evening.

Brad Wing will need to bring his A game, like always. This game will resemble the last one in regards to the fact that literally every yard will matter. Getting 5 yard runs on 1st downs will be mini victories, both ways. Gotta keep them pinned back.

my only concern for this game is the qb position. like someone posted, the qb play vs uga was poor and we can't afford to get down 10-0 vs alabama. the good thing is, qb will not be the weak link any longer (after this year).

The most obvious reason is that Bama is nearly as good as LSU. If we don't play our best game and Bama does we will lose.

Very true, but I think LSU will actually be better in getting pressure this time around since we've got Adams this go round. He was out last game and it was clear that Mingo just doesn't work well being played as many snaps as he got because his effectiveness went way down.

LSU has to find a way to run on them. Either with the option or with the threat of it, we need running lanes to open up the passing game. I think we will.
