I know our players have talent...so that is not the problem. These are 4&5 star DBs on this team.

The problem might be that the coaching has them looking like this (or at this):

yeah, I here ya, LSU is top dog today as far as programs, they get NFL caliber athletes comin thru there on a regular basis. Saban and Muschamp knew that and knew how to use those guys, and that is turn'em loose and let them use there athleticim to make plays all over the field.

Pelini took over and totally changed how they were used, the read and react shite, his D # were a facade for awhile because they put up big stats against weaker OOC teams, but the top teams they went up against exposed them, he knew his system so he got some production from players even though to me they were still being used wrong. but these two DC's don't have a clue, their trying to continue his system but are screwing up big time.

Yup, right on. Let's hope it turns around some this weekend. I think this is a year long project IMO.

Problem with the D started in the 2nd half of the USC game last year. Spurrier exposed our mediocre defense last year in the 2nd half. He kept the passing game short and kept moving the chains. Hopefully this bend but don't break philosphy doesn't kill us this weekend. SPurrier will expose it.

Two comments: 1) If not already Miles needs to embrace the “program first” attitude regardless of who gets benched and who gets sent packing. Mediocrity is not an option. 2) If Miles didn’t pick-up on the bells and whistles flashing after last weekend I doubt he ever will.

I couldn't agree more...where is the aggression?

You know, it was a real shame when Muschamp left, because it seems like he took the passion with him.

I want to see the DCs getting in the faces of their players, stirring them up and lighting fires under their @$$es.

Man, when is that gonna happen for the Tigers?

I don't know, but it makes me frustrated, because we all know what kind of players LSU has and what they are capable of.

I do miss the passion though from the coaches.

Exactly. The talent is there to go mach 3 and we’re poking down the runway.

Now is the time to question the DCs. If the problem persists and yet is not fixed at the end of the season, then it's time to start seriously questioning Miles.

I would think that they would be addressed this week considering everyone and their brother sees it.
