If the committee likes Bama so much why make them 4 seed?

I think they are one of the two best in it. The committee clearly put them in based off of the eye test. Do they really think Washington and Texas are better at this point in the season? Michigan is the one getting screwed here having to play Bama after obtaining the 1 seed. If the committee is basing this solely off of best 4 teams regardless of records it should be Bama, Mich, Texas, Washington in that order.

Any team one of those teams would curb stomp FSU, it would be a waste of time. They picked correctly, the 12 team will be much better.

The question was about seeding. And they got it wrong if going by “best 4” teams

Their whole ranking all the way to 6 doesn't make sense or continue down a logical thought process.
UM #1 expected
UW #2 expected
UT #3 ahead of Bama makes sense
Bama #4 after UT makes sense
FSU #5 WTF, undefeated and not as good as #3 or 4, but better than UGA and OSU? If you say that FSU isn't 3 based on injuries, you are saying that FSU TODAY would beat UGA and OSU? If the reason you moved FSU down was due to QB injuries, then they should be 6 at a minimum.
I think it is a travesty that FSU was not in. FSU should have been #3 and UT #4.
