If the '92 team could do it, this one can.

And that is how I am choosing to feel good about the game tomorrow.

The 1992 team that finished 2-9 only managed one SEC win. Sleepy Robinson and Mississippi State came in favored, and ranked if I'm not mistaken, and while our defense played lights out the whole game the offense finally found a rhythm, scoring all 24 points in the second half. Tigers won 24-3, setting up what was sure to be a big step forward in year 2 for Curley Hallman's team and career with Jesse Daigle solidifying himself as a formidable passer and leader.

Well they did win that night anyway. And we're gonna win tomorrow, because frick it. We're gonna win tomorrow.

We’re comparing this team to Curley team’s now?

You really thought this thread was the work of a man who was dead serious?

I actually prefer the comparison to 2000 as I can see a trend. It was the last time a ranked Miss State came into Tiger Stadium. We beat them and....a favored Tennessee.

We did have an embarrassing loss to UAB though

That's just LSU being LSU. When they get your hopes up, they let you down.

I would say its more bipolar rebuilding teams being bipolar rebuilding teams. So, I could totally see a win over MSU and Tenn and a November loss to UAB. This place would be an absolute shite show if we do.
