I just saw some Rohan Davey highlights in another thread and it got me thinking. Does anyone doubt that if we had had Rohan Davey at QB in 2006, we would have won the NC? Does Rohan not hit his WR's in the Auburn game?

I just wanted to give a shout out to one of my favorite LSU QB's of all time. He and Hodson are right there as my favorites.

Wait, Jimbo calls a different game at Auburn w/ Rohan in instead of Russell? LSU didn't lose at Auburn b/c Russell missed receivers as you suggest. You are an idiot. I love Rohan as much as the next guy, but your suggestion that Rohan instead of Russell wins us a title is beyond retarded.

If we had Josh Reed, maybe

Or any of the RB's at full strength

or played in Tiger stadium, like Rohan did.

I loved Rohan, but JR was a great QB.

Personally, I think the offensive gameplan against Auburn and Florida were, err, less than inspired, regardless of who the QB was.

I don't know about Rohan, but Herb Tyler would have gotten them close, in my opinion.

Play calling and referees. Not QB play.

Given to a bit of hyperbole? I love the way that when someone disagrees with you on the Rant, they call you an idiot. Nice. It is clear that you can't make a decent argument, so you resort to name calling.

If we had beaten Auburn, we would have played for the SEC Championship and would have likely beaten Florida. I was a big Jamarcus Russell fan and thought he did a great job. I just think that Rohan wins that game for us because I think that he leads that offense to more than 3 points. That's my take on it after watching both QB's over the course of their careers.

But, then again, if Rohan had played another game like he did against Ole Miss in 2001, then we don't win squat. So, who knows? I just think that I'd take Rohan over JR because of the intangibles that he possessed as well as the better touch that he had on the ball.

It's just an opinion. Calm down before you hurt yourself or something.

Rohan wouldn't get sacked with 15 seconds left in the game. But, you're right. if the ref wasn't an assbag, we win the game... and go to Atlanta... and beat Florida... and Ohio State.

Please!! Herb Tyler had way more talent then Jamarcus Russell and he had less talent to work with. I'm not saying the QB lost the game either. I just feel if Tyler had more around him, it would have possibly been different. Some of ya'll are so young, you probably don't even remember Herb.

I agree Alatiger. It just show you that some of these people really aren't tigerfans. They remind me of some of the ranters that said that they were giving up their SEC championship/season tickets when LSU lost to Arkansas, only to beg for their tickets back when they found out that LSU was on their way to the NC game. One word=bandwagon fans!
