If our OL can protect the QB, we should be fine.

Bama has a reputation of knocking out the opponent's QB, just thinking what they do to Texas , Florida, Vandy and Tennessee, Hope JL or JJ will stay healthy through out the game.

Unfortunately we cant claim credit for the Tennessee QB. Bray was knocked out a few weeks before we played him.

LSU's O-line>>>>>>>>>>>>Florida or Vandy's. Texas was not this year, bro.

What a very astute observation. I predict that sometime in the near future, NFL teams (hell, maybe teams at all levels) will place an emphasis on protecting the QB.

I think the key to the game is that if LSU's defense can hold Alabama to 0 points, the Tigers will have a good shot to come out with a win.

LSU's Oline has done a great job this year of giving Lee plenty of time.

Alabama is ranked 53rd with 17 sacks (2.13 sacks per game). (LSU is ranked 33 with 19 (2.38 sacks per game).)

The vast majority of Bama's sacks came against Kent State (4), Ole Miss (4), and Florida (5).

I'll sacrifice JLee for McCarron; we each knock out the other's starter and then we play w/ our backup QBs

You do realize this is, first of all, not the last game of the season, and second, JLee still has a possible NFL career ahead of him? What the frick would possess you to say something so idiotic?

Yeah, Lee is a nice guy, I like him very much, and we will need him in the future games too.

Agree. A Jlee fadeaway pass for a pick 6 is the only thing I fear heading into this game. That's the only way we lose.

Not sure if serious.

NFL future for Lee is not unreasonable.

He will get a few looks from scouts based on his completion percentage alone. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to a few work outs and makes a practice squad or 3rd strings for someone.

I don't think that is realistic, I see them scoring 13 or so. I see us scoring more. If you expect a Bama to score nothing you are in for a rough game and roller coaster ride.

I would be shocked.

Every time I see an Alabama highlight I see their linebackers flying through the air hitting quarterbacks. Always makes me wonder how jarret lee would hold up.

This isn't the first time Lee has faced Bama.

I know this, but it still lingers in the back of my mind.

Lee is currently the 12th rated QB

Last year, Ricky Stanzi was the 12th rated QB. Currently, Stanzi is with the KC Chiefs

In '09, Tony Pike was the 12th rated QB. Pike was drafted in the 6th round

So its not unreasonable

He 'held up' through an entire OT game against them in '08. And played without injury against Bama in '10 and '11.
