He's up there but he was the number 1 target of one of the greatest college qbs ever. You think jefferson or landry would have dropped that ball on 4th down against Bama?

I don’t really understand your point as it relates to the other poster’s comment about bowl stats. Josh Reed had an additional 335 receiving yards that weren’t included in his record because they didn’t count bowls in career stats at the time.

If they counted Reed’s bowl stats (as they do today) his record would have been 3,336 yards instead of 3,001.
