If LSU says 8 than NCAA will say 16 ?

When most teams self impose they staff obviously stay on the lighter side of what the punishment will be. So will the NCAA be at 16 - 20 ? According to the story a player got 180,000. That's USC level stuff

There is at least a possibility this was completely unrelated to football.
The dude was embezzling money and had schemes going all over the place. Good chance some of that was coming back to him.

No they don't it usually a compromise somewhere in between.

Eh I’ve seen plenty of cases where they accept the self imposed sanctions.
