I couldn't care less about whether we play USA at all. Because I want the chance to play in Atlanta. So whenever the Florida has to be played it has to be played. To pretend like you're going to quit LSU football for the sake of attention on a message board if we lose one game against a shite opponent is the dumbest thing I've seen yet today

LSU has to stand their ground on this, it's about the principle of it and not setting a precedent. This is not LSU's fault and why should LSU be the one sacrificing anything for this.
It's going to impact LSU somewhere down the road again and for a home game at that and you know the SEC is going to move the damn thing the first chance they get. Why let Fla dictate our schedule?

You should realize that your feelings on this are not shared by many people. UF didn't cause the storm. They took advantage of a bad situation. Boo hoo. If you think joining another conference will improve things, you are wrong. If we can get the game played without a lot of disruption, great. If we have to give up the 11/19 home game, so be it. The more important consideration is to make sure the game gets played. Life is not fair, and that is one of the lessons you learn in sports.

You do realize that sports are just a metaphor for life, where virtue triumphs over vice. That is what draws the crowds. No one is really interested in watching people advance a ball up and down the field. It is about hard work, team work, sacrifice, talent, skill and beauty.
So get over it and get back in the game.

Its like you people think anyone is happy about giving up the home game. No crap I want a home game. But how an adult doesn't prioritize the chance of SEC championship game over South Alabama escapes me. Is it unfair? Yes. Get over it.

Fortunately those of us who demand that UForfeit arrogance/cowardice and SEC incompetence doesn't magically equate to LSU making endless unfavorable concessions are in a VAST majority.

Hence this thread, Aleeva's decision and the overwhelmingly favorable public reception to it.

But if you want to lobby for being a permanent "bottom" for whomever wants to take a run at us, knock yourself out. Until then, you are the one who has to "get over it".

It's not difficult to identify those people who regularly get their advantages taken from them.

And I would bet those same people's contributions to the athletic department add up to enough to cover expenses for one staffer for one game.

They're too ignorant to see that this is about being on an equal playing field. It's about integrity. I can't explain in words how much it means to me, but if LSU stands its ground on this issue, and forces the SEC to do the right thing, I will eagerly continue to financially and otherwise support the program.

Just like you, I chose to draw a line in the sand on this one.

No. The important thing here is that LSU gets to ay the game without giving up a home game. If they have to move SECCG back a week, so be it.

If they need to only count division records toward division titles, so be it.

Would be hilarious if that's the solution and costs UF a chance at going to Atlanta.
