If LSU had been able to schedule that game with Texas Tech

How much more heat would be on a 5-4 Les Miles to get rid of P&M considering they would have given up 50+ points 3 times in a season

we still might play them in the cotton bowl.

Then they give up another 50+ game it might be too late to get a good DC

We need to make a change immediately after the Arkansas game

Who isn't giving up those kinds of points to Texas Tech this year? who's stopped them? Do you say we try to get Muschamp again? Do you think anyone is going to stop them or simply outscore them? Should every coordinator that has faced Florida since our game be fired as well? Should Georgia fire their coordinator because they gave up 38 to both LSU and kentucky? Is the game changing and are teams scoring more points? Is it tougher to stop the spread than anything else if you can't match-up personel wise?

Will giving up 14 points to Alabama, one on a very short field, result in any kind of positive comment from you on any thread? Just curious what it will take to please you.

UGA fans want Willie Martinez fired immediately.

I know they do. My brother-in-law is a UGA alum and big fan. But that doesn't preclude us from asking the question. The expectations are good to be high, and while I agree that something should change, it seems as though anything positive that has come from the recent defense in our last games is moot for some.

What we did against Alabama was impressive; yet, we continue to harp on a road game at Florida where they were simply better than us. They score at will against everyone.

Georgia will have a new DC next season. You cannot be giving away 30+ a game like LSU and GA has this season.

Obviously Malleveto cant handle the spread, so perhaps bring in a DC that could?

Well, it would actually have been five or six times, if you broke the Texas Tech game down by quarters.

who would make you happy? Were you happy with the bama performance from the defense? Are you going to continue to post this same thing in every single thread, even when your powerful insight into the matter isn't necessary or even relevant for the topic at hand?

You're the reason this board amazes me. When fans make up "What If" scenario's, post what they think would have happened, and then place the brick wall smiley like they are so disgruntled at the outcome of the imaginary scenario that they just conjured up in their head.

Thread: What if LSU were to lose to Arkansas 55-30?
Nuts: We simply cannot continue to lose imaginary scenario's like this guys. It's just frustrating as a fan to give up 55 imaginary points to Arkansas and our coordinators should be shot to death on the parade grounds. frick. I'm so angry at the what if scenario playing out in a sea of apathy because I'm a miserable person.

Actually I'm just hoping to piss off each person that pisses me off on this board. They're out in force today and I'm going to leave work early so I've only got about another 45 minutes of attemptive rebuttle, as futile as my attempts might be perceived.

Totally agree, funny how the only thing people have in their pathetic lives is LSU football. There are more important things in life

Careful though. There's a fine line between being reasonable and being a sunshine pumper. There are a few posters here that will defend anything the coaching staff does. And yes, there are MANY others that will find fault at every opportunity.

By the way, Nuts is actually one of the better posters here.

I really don't know what type of poster he is to be honest, so maybe you're right. But I find these types of threads pervading the board to embody the stupidy of the LSU fanbase at times and the responses that have followed parallel that notion.

I still wish we would've taken this game. It would have been a road game this year, and who knows, maybe we could've snuck up on them early in the year? Regardless, it would be nice to have that series, especially the home game in 2009.

In the same sense football is just a game, this is just a message board, so don't get so worked up about it.

I don't think defending national champions sneak up on anybody early in the year. I agree though, the series would have been nice.
