Alleva would act like LSU won the super bowl if orgeron goes 11-2 this season. He would be taking lifetime contract then.

With that said, fuch no. He gets 3 years. At the end we extend or we move on.

You don’t extend a coach that no one else wants.

Generally you can’t wait until the end of a contract to extend. It sends the message of instability and uncertainty to recruits. They either need to cut ties or extend before or at the 2 year mark left on his contract.

He'll get a significant raise and a three-year contract extension if he does that and deservedly so

youve already publicly posted that 7 wins is a," i told you O was the right hire" type of season.

I still can't believe Orgeron's our damn coach.

Holy shite how stupid is Alleva for doing this to us?

Anyone with a brain could see how pivotal this hire was for LSU. We could either hire a good coach and he could take us back to where LSU had been or we could hire a worse coach and the program could continue to slide. our clown AD chose to bet the future of the LSU football program on a career defensive line coach
It's really mind blowing he fired a great recruiter great motivator with questionable game day coaching and hired a less successful recruiter less successful motivator and a worse game day coaching.

I do not give a crap what the coaches name is.
If a coach goes 11-2 and wins a Bowl Game and is not given an extension, you can forget ever hiring another good coach.
No Coach would come to LSU (except to draw a salary) with those requirements...specially playing in the SEC West.

Some people just need to get their head out of their arse as it is affecting their rationality

Definitely

How could anyone be canned with a year like that?

right, so the offense rankings are meaningless with winning.

now i readily admit changing the offense wouldve/ could've added to the win total but in the end wins and losses are what get coaches fired. thats literally all im saying.
