If LSU allows either of the above, I'd be worried.

This. And the prior post about ULL not being as much of a cupcake as yrs past.

I'm not worried by any stretch about how we win, because you have to admit, the 40-50 point blowouts don't matter AT ALL when you later match up with FL, BAMA, etc.

ULL does have some momentum, as stated in another thread, but they won't beat LSU, and I hope (they better damn well do it if they have any pride) they beat the crap out of every one else on their schedule.

1... As long as we stay undefeated I could give 2 shits how we play...

It's amazing how people complain about how much someone WINS by...

I also didn't realize just how ignorant our fanbase is.

you right...did the 63-3 or whatever the Tennessee score the first game really give them a portrayal of where the team was? I hope we win by +21 and the game is never in doubt. I wonder if this is the year ULL finally scores a td?

I think we win by 20-25 regardless of how well we are playing. Miles has never been the type of coach to lay down the hammer on these cupcakes late in the game just b/c he can. I'd like to see it, but the offense will be very conservative in the 4th quarter with the reserves in the game to get some playing time.

After saturday, will ULL join Vandy and Washington as "good teams" and instant superstuds? A 15 point LSU win is sure to bring that kind of talk around.

This is a clueless statement. No way in hell is ULL in the same ranks as UW or Vandy. Wait until after UW plays USC then come talk to the board. UW might not when the game, but you better believe they will get the repect they deserve if they play USC like they played us. Both teams will be bowl eligible. As far as ULL is concern, LSU should blow this team out of the water...it's not even close.

Thank you... What people don't understand is that one game is one game... The way we played WA is not the same way we will play Florida.

Just look at 2007... We beat FL and Ohio State but lose to Kentucky and Arkansas?

I really wish people would just shut up. UW will win a few games this year and give some good teams a scare... Jake Locker is twice the QB Pryor is, He will give USC a headache.

Agreed. If Jake Locker is given anytime at all, I guarantee you he will pick apart the USC defense. I'm not sold on USC's defense because they had to replace eight starters. I also witnessed Terrelle Pryor shredding them here and there, especially on the big gain in the first quarter.

The thing is, if you watch the games closely, we are very close to putting it together. I think the defense will do it's part are be around average. However, LSU's strength should be it's offense. I think we are close. If we get a little better blocking, we will be tough to stop.

If we don't put up at least 38 and allow 10 or less I'd be worried. We've ALWAYS put a ton of points on ULL and allowed basically nothing.

Better not take them for granted. Continued improvement is mandatory for winning the game Saturday.
