I doubt very seriously that Lee will ever see the field again

It must be nice to go through life without any responsibilities whatsoever. Because I'm sure no one in their right mind would want your opinion on anything in life.

Let's play, name that QB...
Which QB posted the following stats from last year, as a soph?

276comp 424att 3303yds 7.79YPA 22TDs 18ints

tick tock tick tock

ANSWER: Heisman hopeful, and QB of the 3rd ranked Longhorns--Colt McCoy. I imagine fans where very unhappy about 18ints.

Now compare freshman Lee:
143comp 269att 1873yds 6.96YPA 14TDs 16ints

So what are the similarities?

Last yr Texas gave up 25 points per game, This year LSU gave up 27 points per game. Compare that to the 18 ppg that Tx is giving up this yr, and the 19 ppg LSU gave up last yr, and you have the difference ints for a QB.

When the D is allowing points, the O has to pass, a young QB is going to make more mistakes.

In the two games JJ played, he threw 1 int for 49 yd return, took multiple sacks, and missed on 60% of his throws.

An improved D will solve many of our QB problems, whoever the QB is.

Thank you, JRA4LSU.

I was beginning to think JJ had transferred or been kidnapped.

Give this young man another 3-4 games under center and you've got your starter.

Let the best man start.

The coaches will be in the best position to determine that ...and not 'till the end of spring practice...at the earliest.

unless someone has a crystal ball....

if so, please send the lottery numbers.

Here's the real question.

Why do so many fans seem to actually CARE which of these guys turns out good in the next few years?

Shouldn't we just be happy if one of em does and hell, it would be kinda cool if both of em did?
