There is no way in hell. He’s a pure guard. He’s like barley 6’2.

I’m with you. He should get a look if Dec continues to struggle. Trarore is even worse.

Just typically a Tackle needs to have a tall frame with long arms. He’s going to be a great guard, but he’s not a guy that will eventually transition into a Tackle. His body and the style he plays with is pure guard.

Yeah for sure he seems taller. I have no idea why I’m being downvoted in this, everyone who followed recruiting knew he was a pure guard and wouldn’t transition into a Tackle. He’s going to have great speed for being in the middle of the line.

Put him in the position where he can contribute immediately.

This.

Chances are he’s immediately the 3rd G and 2nd T.

You've only got a couple of downvotes and those are from people that don't know any better. I actually wondered if he could possibly cross train at center but Kardell is no tackle.

6-2 is good enough if hes quick enough. If hes quick enough to keep a edte rusher put the box and to beat someone to the outside on a hook block then his height shouldn't matter.

The reason he dropped in rankings was at some of the elite camps he was placed at OT and he struggled. TT7 is right. He doesn't have the frame (height, length) to be an OT. He also is carrying way too much weight to have good lateral movement required at OT.

No he struggled at guard as well with lateral movement. He needs to drop like 40idh lbs before he is taken seriously at playing college football.

He's a growing kid even though he looks like a grown man.

The reason he dropped in the recruiting rankings over the last 6 months is because he tried out tackle in allot of 1 on 1 drills at camps and all star game practices and did not perform well. Allot of LSU fans were pointing out he shouldn't be penalized for not being a great tackle when he's going to play guard.

The legend of the rant. I doubt he is even the 5th guard or 7th tackle. Give the guy some time. Geez

I really hate when "fans" trash our players to justify their bad ideas.

I saw him at the indoor track meet last weekend. He is big but quite frankly looks soft. I do not know how throwing the shot put translates to football performance but he could barely throw it over 30 feet. He has the frame but I think we need to be patient based on my very limited knowledge.
