Les wants to use him for the Running Threat! and he has ran okay. But he still slides before defenders, and runs likes he is soft stepping it. Now if he was our primary QB then I would be totally fine with that, but he isn't and the other QB seems to be moving the offense better. So I think if he ran more like a running back "Cam Newton" we could get more yards out of him and possibly more touchdowns.

Because before his run against Tennessee pretty much no one really thought he was a runner.

He's just not that great of a runner. He's stiff, has very little wiggle, and goes down easily.

Is that how YOU did it when you were an all conference running back?

I feel if Les just told him "if you want to play then you have to run hard" we would get alot more out of him. I feel we have better running threats that i'm sure can pass! And of course Shepard, but how about WARE. I don't think playing Jefferson as primarily a runner is putting the best talent on the field. It has worked so far because we have won, but that may not always be the case.

He's the runner? He runs the worst option in the history of option football. Those trail backs must hate to hear that play called.

Injury

Les would rather JJ get positive yards and not get hurt rather than fight for extra yardage on every run and risk injury. I think it's been said that JJ doesnt tolerate pain that well, also.

Same reason GC tells Cam Newton to run out of bounds than to fight for extra yardage.

Uncommonsense I didn't understand your question. Don't feel bad, no one ever understands what this idiot is talking about.

JJ is not an instinctual runner. He hits the wrong holes and makes poor cuts. He's not a RB he's a QB

A simple typo negative in Atlanta. I'm not surprised you didn't understand, you seem to know so little about so much, especially football.

What do you know about football? Every single one of your posts is an ad hominem response to someone who may have a critical thought.

I admit I don't know everything there is to know about football. In that respect I am more honest than 90% of the posters here, all of whom seem to know it all. I merely pose a few questions to show the ignorance and absence of logic inherent in the negatiger fan base.
Does the OP in this thread really think he is qualified to judge and criticize Jefferson's running style. How so? What are his credentials?
All of this cowardly piling on of every little aspect of Jefferson's play results in what? Water cooler bravado?
But I am honored that you have taken the time and effort to criticize me. I am assuming that you have similarily chastised some of the other posters for their comments regarding the players and Les Miles.
You have haven't you?

In that case, nobody here should criticize anything. Then what would be the point of the Tiger Rant?

Then if by your own admission criticism is acceptable is it ok that I choose to criticize the critics?

Criticize them for criticizing all you want, but do you have to tag every single post with a childish ad hominem?

Why is every single one of your posts angry and condescending?

If he would make better reads he could gain 60-100 yards every game as much as we run the read.
