What separates the really good teams from average joe, is guard play. There are a few SEC teams with young guards that are completely carrying their teams to new levels.
When you get to March, it is still all about guard play.

A good guard is like finding a good QB and when they're bad the entire team looks like arse. Problem is if your offense struggles you need a good defense kinda like every sport known to man.

3-23 3-point shooting is the byproduct of stagnant half court game resulting in shot attempts with the clock running out. Poor coaching
