If I told you we would give up a total of 6 runs in our 1st 3 games using 7 total pitchers

You would say we would be waiting to play our next game in the CWS championship series..

Our pitching has been outstanding with an ERA of 2 over 3 games. It’s time for our bats to shoulder some of the load these next two games to get to Saturday.

Wes Johnson has his staff READY. Props to Jay on an outstanding hire for pitching coach. We will miss him next year, but it’s a good thing when your coaches get hired to run a major program.

I don't count Guidry as he only threw 2 pitches. It's really 6 pitchers. Guidry is still ready to come in and will probably be needed tonight. Defense has been solid except for a couple of plays.

I had to count Guidry because he gave up the 2 run HR.
Without that, our staff ERA would be 1.33 for the 3 games..
