Actually it was probably 2004 when USC and Texas went the whole year 1 and 2. Now before that i cant recall. The point is its rare and it doesnt really matter. Ask USC and Florida how much it matters.

Forget the stinkin polls. That doesn't help right now. We need an East team to roll and us beat them in the SEC championship game. That way if we lose the SEC championship game the SEC will have a great shot at the NCG. Bama must lose! I hate Bama!!

Well we still control our own destiny and will continue to do so until we lose. Sure we would like some cushion in case of error. But if we slip we can only blame one team (ourselves). My coach used to say, win em all and you dont have to worry about where you rank. (Unless your Auburn in 2004).
