That's a bingo!

I'm not sure Coach Cooper would want to stay a DB's coach for the rest of his career. His stock is just about at its peak.

coop wants to be a d.c., he wanted the d.c. position when we hired chavis. he was a d.c. at m.s.u. not much success but talent deficient.

if they want him as d.c., then he's gone. there are good db coaches out there.

He's been a DC 3 times and a HC twice already. Maybe(hopefully) he is satisfied with where he is and the atmosphere at LSU.

put it together before i could, I hope this is the case. his family is very happy here.

I would hire Corey Raymond back.

Good suggestion. I'm sure he would be up for consideration.

Why would he go anywhere else? He has already failed several times. I can't see him as a serious DC candidate. LSU should just drop the $$$ on him and keep him. He is our best coach here, why would they not do every effort to keep him? Money shouldn't be a problem for LSU. This could hurt us in landing Collins too if he leaves.

Cooper outstanding db developer, the best in college football!! Throw some $$$$$ at him, lock him down as long as you can. Solid investment for the Tigers, and i'm sure Les knows how valuable he is.
