Never been an Aranda fan as you know. Going to walk out on our team in the mist of trying to win a NC???? Really??? Doesn't he get paid until the END of the season? If the prick walks, I would pay him nothing of what may be "owed."

Well that's open-minded of you. Never gave the guy a chance even when his units were elite.

As someone who lived in vegas for 5 years and watched the basketball program rule the early 90's, that place is a potential juggernaut with the right coach. At least in their division. It was like going to a Lakers game. Courtside seats went for $2500. They could become a Boise State or UCF. Especially once the NFL moves in. Not sure if that is aranda's best move but it won't be an unattracive job for long. And Vegas definitely recruits itself.

I agree Vegas could be a good but it is not right now and Aranda does not really enjoy recruiting. This seems like a strange move considering most people expected him to go the NFL route

I think it's BS. Agents doing what agents do.

Most people just kept repeating things about his career ambitions that were never substantiated in the first place.

I get that, but in college recruiting is just as or more important than scheme sometimes and it is documented that recruiting is not what he enjoys.

Not saying he can’t or won’t

ow about just wishing a coach that's worked his arse off for LSU good luck? Why is that so hard for some of you?

Because frick him, that’s why. If you don’t coach for LSU, why the frick should we care about you anymore? He was paid well and quit the Tigers for “greener pastures”. We support the coaches AT LSU. He was compensated, we don’t owe him anything else.

If a player goes to the Pros, that’s different and I will wish them well (and possibly follow their careers) because they’re players who do this shite for “free”.

ETA: if all this is fake news, I’m still an Aranda supporter because he’s a coach AT LSU.
