2019 is going to be stacked offensively and I get what your saying, but at the same time do we want to potentially waste one of our most talented offensive teams with an OC that can't effectively utilize their potential.

Look at our 2012/2013 teams with Mett, OBJ, Landry and Hill. Those teams were built for a championship run and although we had successful seasons we should have been playing for a NC. We can't waste this opportunity.

This is football. There are always going to be issues.

An OC shouldn't need perfect circumstances to be better than 104th in total offense.

Bamas new OC also inherited the #1 QB In the country who by the way will likely win the heismen ...

And why all the bama comparisons ? Apples to oranges ... We on the rest of y'all bus like the other 112 teams that can't beat them !! GET OVER IT !!

I don't care what our record is....this is team game this is about excellence!!!!!! The offense is not excellent

Great Post!

This is what people are missing when saying "LSU is 8-2, stop the whining and bitching"

Look, we are all ecstatic about the 8-2 record and #7 ranking, but when you tell others to stop the whining and bring up the record, you are ignoring the elephant in the room!

We understand there have been injuries to the OL, but the offense is dysfunctional and putrid. The offense struggles at running the most basic plays even against lower tier or less talented teams. Changes need to be made on the offensive staff if LSU is going to get back to elite status and truly compete for championships.

I understand that no body wants to see 3 OCs in 3 years, but if that changes isn't done, then you will see the entire staff let go within 2 years.

Saban has an offensive philosophy that he runs, he runs stuff he can’t stop

Aranda should help design the new offense.

I am merely stating that even when Saban climbs the mountain, he never stays satisfied or takes a step backwards

This is why he lands the #1 QB....errr, best class every year too

When your offensive stats suck, people can successfully recruit against us

I don’t understand why you guys keep posting same thing.

This is O’s offense. Just like it was with Miles.

It doesn’t matter who the OC is. Problem remains HC.

AGREE.............
And all the stupid people who have every reason why we should continue to be Next Year U will come out of the woods to piss on your parade. What do these people think we want?????? Do they think we want to keep losing out on the big prize? They are satisfied with never beating the big boys and just have a good season. Never taking a risk to win it all. It just pissed me off that they can't see that. They are happy just sitting in their own crap and saying every thing is wonderful because we won 9 or 10 games.

I reaallllly don't think sabam has to talk about offensive production during recruiting -- just show them the trophy case, hand the keys to their new charger, hand the keys to parents new house and job offers!! Easy!!

When SE signed his name on the dotted line and took the money, he sealed his fate. If it is deemed necessary to replace him, then he needs to kick rocks like any other fired OC in the nation. I said that the minute this whole thing was done. Not saying he isn't a good guy and all, but what was he really doing with the TE's any way. We don't use them for anything but blocking. Elite teams don't have the space for coaches just because of he played here, or we are fishing buddies, they need to produce.

You should always strive to improve and LSUs offense needs so much improvement it’s damn near comical.
